Accommodating up to 300 guests, our spacious and elegant banquet suite offers expansive windows across serene views over the Dedham Valley. Blending timeless luxury with sophistication, this function room is filled with grand chandeliers, soft draping, and twinkling ceiling lights that create the perfect romantic atmosphere for a modern and classic dining experience for loved ones, as well as a lively dance floor for your special day.

For a more intimate, small wedding reception, choose our constable room. With the versatility to adapt the space with two connecting rooms, you will be able to create the ideal atmosphere for the size of your party and the needs of your wedding guests. Adorned with sweeping, daylight-filled views across the countryside and an outside terrace. The room can be used for a ceremony and a banquet and fits any themed wedding, contemporary or more traditional.

FAQs

What time can I have my ceremony?

You are welcome to have your ceremony at any point during the day; it’s entirely up to you and the registrars. Usually, we recommend a 1-2pm ceremony.  The only restriction is if you have booked our Twilight Package - in this case, ceremonies can commence from 5pm onwards.

Can I have my ceremony outside?

Yes! As a licensed venue, you are more than welcome to have your wedding on the Devora Terrace or our Magical Tipi. Get in touch with our team to find out the maximum capacity for an outside ceremony.

What’s the maximum capacity?

If you are in our Constable Rooms, the maximum capacity for the day is 65 guests, and for the evening it’s 150 guests. If you are in the Devora Suite, the maximum capacity for the day is 250 guests, and for the evening it’s 300 guests. Please be aware that if your civil ceremony is in the Constable Rooms, we are only licensed for 200 guests.

How do I secure the big day?

We are so pleased you are looking to book! We can provisionally hold a date for 2 weeks; during this time, we ask for a deposit. The deposit is £1,000.00 at the time of confirming.

Do you have a preferred vendor list, or can we bring our own?

You are welcome to use any supplier you wish to (apart from our restriction on fireworks). All we ask is that they have Public Liability Insurance and that any of their electrical equipment is PAT tested. These certificates will be required prior to them coming on-site. All external supplier details will need to be sent to your wedding coordinator before your wedding so that we can email them over access times.
