Wedding and Events Team

Simone is our fabulous Wedding & Events Team Leader here at Stoke by Nayland Resort, and she, along with her team, is on hand to guide you with ideas, support, and enthusiasm through every step of your wedding journey.

Simone is a shining example of job progression joining our work family nearly 4 years ago.
Starting out as an apprentice, Simone has worked up the ranks from a reservationist whilst studying an events apprenticeship, taking on the role of Wedding Coordinator.
She has become the face of our Wedding Team and we are delighted with her recent promotion to Wedding & Events Team Leader. Simone has played a big part in weddings at the Resort and is so passionate about her role (Look how excited she is at winning the Golf Course Wedding Venue award at the 2020 Essex Wedding Awards). She has gone above and beyond to help create beautiful memories for our happy couples and is an absolute credit to our team.

Sales Team

Be like Steph…

As a valuable member of our Spa Team, Steph has been a part of our work family for nearly twenty years, joining us at nineteen and loves working here so much that she celebrated her wedding at the Resort. Through training and hard work, she excelled to Spa Manager before enjoying the flexibility of working in her part-time role as Spa Sales Manager alongside raising her young family.
Steph is passionate about providing wonderful spa experiences for our guests and is an integral part of our Sales Team.

Be like Arthur

Be like Arthur…

Arthur has been working in the Hospitality industry since the age of 19 and has been a valuable member of our Food and Beverage Team for three years.

He loves meeting people and gets a real buzz from creating exciting flavour sensations, mixing up new cocktails for customers on request. Arthur prides himself on delivering a great standard of service and has attended cocktail courses in Amsterdam with more to come, constantly developing and honing his skills here at the Resort.

You will often find Arthur, cocktail shaker in hand, in our Orchard Bar Lounge & Terrace, where he goes above and beyond to provide our customers with a fantastic experience.
