To make the most of your next visit to Peake Spa, we have answered commonly asked questions.

Please give our friendly Spa Team a call if you have any further questions ahead of your next visit on 01206 262836.

  • Do I need to book treatments in advance?

Our treatments are very popular, so we recommend that you book your treatment in advance. That way we can ensure everything is ready for you on the day.

  • Can I book online?

Yes, you can book both spa break and spa day packages online. Just head over to our spa page to find the right package for you or view our latest spa offers.

  • What facilities do you have

Our spa poolside facilities include an 18.3-metre indoor heated pool, steam room, sanarium, Jacuzzi and concept shower. Our pool is the same depth throughout, with diving prohibited.

  • What should I wear to a spa break?

We advise wearing comfortable swimwear, and avoiding metal clasps as these get hot when using our steam room and sanarium. There’s no need to strip off completely for your treatment during your spa day or spa break. We would recommend that you continue to wear your bikini bottoms. Please note that these may get oily from the products used in your treatment. For our Rasul Mud Therapy Experience, we would recommend wearing darker swimsuits as the natural mud and minerals may stain light-coloured swimwear.

  • What time do spa breaks start and finish?

Our spa days start at 9:30 am. You can arrive after this time, but we advise you to arrive at Peake Spa 30 minutes prior to your treatments. For spa breaks, please also arrive from 9:30 am. If your spa break is on the day of your arrival at the resort, you will be able to check into your hotel room from 3:00 pm and either leave your bags in your vehicle or with Peake Spa Reception.

  • What are your opening hours

Please click here to find out more about our Spa opening times.

  • Pre-Authorisation on your arrival at Peake Spa

Please note, upon arrival, all guests are required to pre-authorise a credit or debit card to the value of £20 per person. This will allow chargebacks throughout your Spa Day and for you to take a robe home, should you wish to.

  • Can I add extra treatments to my spa package?

Extra treatments can be added subject to availability. Please call Peake Spa to add a treatment to your existing booking on 01206 262836.

  • Do you offer couple's rooms for treatments together?

For those wishing to spend their treatment time together, we are able to offer a couple’s treatment room. If you would like to request this, please add this to the notes section in your booking. Both guests will need to be booking the same treatment. Please note that this is subject to availability and may not be available during busy times.

  • Are mobile phones allowed in the spa?

Mobile phones are allowed in our spa. However, we would prefer that they are kept on silent, with calls taken in our Spa Café area away from our spa relaxation areas and other guests.

  • Is there anything that I should tell the Spa Therapist prior to my treatment?

On arrival, we ask you to complete our Spa Pre-Treatment questionnaire. Here you can indicate any health conditions or skin problems that our therapist should know about in advance of your treatment. Please let us know if you are pregnant as we would advise against facial and massage treatments in your first trimester. You can of course inform us earlier or at the time of booking.

  • What are your hygiene protocols?

Our changing rooms utilise a UV filtration system, purifying the air and removing germs. Our treatment rooms are cleaned and sanitised after each use. Hand sanitisers are available across the resort. We strongly recommend showering before using our poolside spa facilities and pool to remove any residue from cosmetics products and oils on your body. We also advise against shaving within 4 hours of using our facilities to avoid sensitive skin, with warm temperatures and spa products used in our treatments.

  • Do you have a Spa treatment menu?

We offer an excellent variety of spa treatments. You can view our latest treatment list online.

  • Can I have treatments if I am pregnant?

We have Decleor and Little Butterfly treatments available specifically for mums-to-be and new mums. Please be aware that we offer spa treatments only after you have passed your first trimester.

  • Can children have spa treatments.?

Unfortunately, we reserve our spa area for persons aged 16 or over. We therefore are unable to carry out spa treatments for children.

  • Can I cancel my treatment or Spa Day?

Yes, in line with our cancellation policy. Please refer to the terms and conditions in your booking confirmation email.

  • Can I still have treatments and enjoy a Spa Day if I have allergies?

We have many treatments available that can be adapted to meet your needs. We also send out a Pre-Treatment Questionnaire to all guests. To ensure that we’re looking after you properly, it is essential that you complete and return this to us so that we can prepare for your visit.

  • Can I have spa treatments if I am recovering from or undergoing cancer treatments?

Looking after yourself is especially vital while you are recovering from or undergoing cancer treatment. Our therapists are trained in Jennifer Young treatments. This enables our guests to enjoy some much-needed TLC.

  • Can I use the Steam Room and Sanarium after a treatment?

We advise guests not to use our heat rooms after treatment. But we are happy to schedule you in to use our steam room or sanarium before your spa treatments if these are a part of a spa day or spa break. Please note that terms and conditions may vary on different spa packages. For example, poolside spa facilities are not included if you have booked a treatment separate from a spa day or spa break. If you are unsure what your package includes, please feel free to ask one of our staff, and we’ll be happy to help you.

  • Do I need to bring my own robe and flip-flops?

Guests enjoying our spa days and breaks have robes and flip-flops provided. Guests having treatments only can hire a robe and purchase flip-flops from our reception to use within the treatment rooms.

  • Will I be able to purchase products used in my treatments to continue my skincare at home.

To ensure the best results and continued improvements, our therapists will recommend products specifically for your needs. You can purchase your tailored care products from our wide retail selection.
