Peake Fitness FAQs

To make the most of your next visit to Peake Fitness, we have answered some commonly asked questions.

  • What are your off-peak membership times?

    Off-peak membership times are 11am – 4pm, Monday to Friday

  • Can I bring guests?

    Guest passes are available to purchase from Peake Spa reception. As a member, you can bring up to two guests at a time. Guest passes are £13 per person and give you full access to the gym and pool facilities.

  • What temperature is your pool?

    Our pool is kept between 29 and 30 degrees, and our Jacuzzi between 36 and 39 degrees.

  • How old do you have to be to join Peake Fitness?

    To be a member at Peake Fitness, you need to be 16 or over.

  • How far in advance can I book classes?

    Members can book classes 8 days in advance via the Mywellness app. Non-members can book classes 3 days in advance.

  • Do I need an induction?

    All members have the opportunity to book an induction with our team when they join. This is a great opportunity to be shown how to operate our Technogym equipment, as well as set some goals to help you kickstart your health and fitness journey.

  • Do you have Wi-Fi?

    Yes, our free guest Wi-Fi can be accessed at Peake Fitness.

  • Can I freeze my membership?

    If you are going away for a long period or need to take some time out for medical reasons, we can freeze your membership for a minimum of 3 months. To freeze your membership, we require 30 days’ written notice. Please email [email protected].

  • How do I cancel my membership?

    We’re sorry to see you go… If you wish to cancel your membership, we require 30 days’ written notice. Please email [email protected].

  • Can I change my membership category?

    Yes, you can change your membership category – we just require 30 days’ notice to make any amendments. Please speak to a member of the Peake Fitness team or email [email protected].

  • Can I hire a towel?

    As a member, you get complimentary use of a fresh towel every time you visit.

  • Can children use the swimming pool?

    We have specific swim times where members can bring children to use the pool, for £3 per child. Our children’s swim times are:

    • Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays: 8am – 9am and 6pm – 7:30pm
    • Monday to Friday (during Suffolk and Essex state school holidays only): 8am – 9am
  • What changing facilities do you have?

    Both our male and female changing rooms have everything you will need, including digital lockers, spin dryers and complimentary shower gel and shampoo.
