On Sunday 31st October, we are holding a two-hour workshop, where young golfers can learn more about the basics of golf along with how lessons and progression pathways are structured.
During the session, we will work closely with the children to evaluate their skill level and recommend which of our new training groups would be suitable for them to progress in.
FAQs
Q. How old does the junior need to be?
A. There is no minimum age limit and we coach juniors up to the age of 18 in these sessions – as long as the child can hold a club, we’re happy to teach them the rest.
Q. Do we need equipment?
A. You are welcome to bring your own equipment, however, we have everything they will need for the sessions.
Q. What should they wear?
A. You don’t need to spend money on fancy golf attire. Simply dress in comfortable clothing that won’t restrict movement and comfortable, flat shoes/trainers. Don’t forget to send a waterproof jacket and something warm as we will be outside.
Q. If I sign up for this session, will I have to register for future coaching?
A. There is no obligation to sign up for our ongoing coaching sessions. We want to give juniors a chance to give golf a go. We will evaluate their skill level during their time with us so you have the option of enrolling them in a class that best suits them if they decide they’d like to learn more.
Q. Do I have to stay for the session?
A. There is no need for you to stay whilst the session is taking place. You are very welcome to pop down to the Resort and grab a cup of coffee.
