A countryside escape

As a part of your break, you can also enjoy complimentary access to our 18-metre indoor pool and poolside facilities. To use our pool & spa facilities between 10 am & 6 pm, you can book a free 2-hour session per night of your stay. Your session includes a lounger, robe and towels and must be booked in advance of your stay. No booking is required outside of these times. Please check our Pool Policy here for information on restricted children’s swimming times and our lounger policy. To book your 2-hour session, simply book your session when you purchase your break online. Please note, this does not include any spa treatments. To book a treatment in advance, please click here.

If you wish to take advantage of our on-site pool and spa facilities, spending the day relaxing on a reserved lounger, we would highly recommend purchasing a Spa Day. This will provide you with a reserved spa lounger, spa afternoon tea or lunch platter and a fabulous selection of spa treatments. We would recommend that these be purchased in advance due to high demand.

The Resort offers three dining experiences:

• A la carte dining in the Lakes Restaurant with mouth-watering dishes, expertly presented by our award-winning team of chefs. Prior booking is recommended.
• Gallery Restaurant serving a delicious menu of fresh local produce. Prior booking is recommended.
• Our Sports Bar offers a casual dining experience, serving hearty dishes in a relaxed atmosphere with Live TV sport shown on the big screen. Prior booking is not required.

Our Resort is nestled in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Essex/Suffolk border, Apple Tree lodges enjoy a tranquil countryside location. A short distance from tourist favourites with heritage sites and gardens, historic villages, river watersports, art and history museums and much more just a short drive away. Take a day trip to nearby Colchester to explore the history of Britain’s first recorded Roman Town and enjoy a spot of shopping. You’ll be spoilt for choice with a great selection of boutiques, chain stores and independent shops.
