Delivering Sales Excellence

We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join the Sales Team in this award-winning group of companies.

Working as part of the Sales Team, and reporting to the Group Commercial Director, the successful candidate will work to deliver daily marketing and sales activities and help to develop and achieve the Sales budget.

What You’ll Get Up To

The successful candidate will be responsible for…

  • Administering all sales streams based on demand as directed by the Commercial Director
  • Working with the team and Commercial Director on the lead generation strategy for all areas
  • Utilising the CRM system to ensure we are maximising repeat business and converting leads
  • Working with the Marketing team to ensure each segment of business is accurately represented on the website, social media and in the press
  • Working with the sales team on the enquiry process ensuring leads are dealt with, conversion rates worked on to target
  • Conducting regular competitor analysis to ensure we are both competitive, and maximising our revenue
  • Ensuring the accuracy of function sheets to provide the Ops team with all the necessary information to execute the functions and events
  • Maximising upselling opportunities for all sales areas through rate additions, room upgrades and package upgrades
  • Assisting with Sales Blitz days, exhibitions and fayres where necessary
  • Working with agents to ensure visibility and increases bookings, while keeping commissions low
  • Making regular sales calls to target, and undertake regular lead generation actives to continue to increase sales
  • Working with reservations team to handle calls and manage accounts/enquiries

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will…

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience working with a CRM system
  • Highly organised and comfortable in taking on a range of activities at one time
  • Able to work in a team and as an individual
  • At least 2 years’ experience in meetings & event sales – corporate desired but not essential
  • Drive and determination to succeed
  • Confident and articulate telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with customers delivering high levels of customer service
  • Manage a high workload and prioritise accordingly
