Night Porter

Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for experienced Night Porter staff to join their team on a full time/part time basis.

This is a hands-on role that would will suit a motivated individual who has a positive outlook and a natural interest in learning new skills and being organised. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced night security or food & beverage employee looking to develop their career in a 4-star Resort.

The successful candidate will be responsible for;

• Hosting and managing night reception
• Hosting and managing the late bar
• Building, staff, guest security and health & safety
• Overnight conference & banqueting break down and set up
• Developing and maintaining standards
• Evening and morning handover of tasks and checklists
• Billing and invoicing controls to the Accounts Department
• Banqueting Bars close down and cash up, when necessary
• Nights Floor Manager, when required.
• Rolling shift pattern 4 off, 4 on.
• Working in pairs

• Requirements
• Minimum 1 years experience in Front of House, Food & Beverage
• Good IT and admin skills
• Security or Health & Safety trained
• First aid qualified to 3 day or equivalent
• Personal liquor licence preferred
• Golf club / resort experienced preferred but not essential
• Experience working with a POS & FOH system
• Have excellent organisational skills
• Have the ability to work alone and as part of a team

Additional Information – As part of the Food & Beverage Team you will be expected to work five days from seven, including weekends and bank holidays.
