Maintenance Operative – Part Time

Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for a Maintenance Operative to assist with the maintenance of its 4* Luxury Hotel, Golf, Lodges and Spa facilities, on a part-time basis. The Maintenance team works hard to support the day-to-day running of the business with its general upkeep and presentation, and are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to start their career in this field.

General day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

• Changing light bulbs
• Basic plumbing tasks
• General repairs
• Repairing bedroom furniture and fittings
• Painting and decorating
• Assisting with planned preventative maintenance
• Assisting with planned building works

You may be required to travel across group sites as part of your role.

What are we looking for:

• A proactive and enthusiastic Maintenance professional/or somebody who is keen to start a career in maintenance
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively
• Maintenance knowledge and experience in a service environment (not essential)
• General knowledge and experience of plumbing (not essential)

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
