We are looking for a dynamic recently qualified Chartered Accountant to join the business as support to the Group Financial Controller.
The Boxford Group is headquartered in the beautiful Dedham Vale. The individual will provide meaningful data to the board to support strategic decision-making. We are looking for an ambitious individual who will ultimately step up to the FC role and take the lead on acquisitions, capex projects, managing of budgets and contribution to the growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Production and overview of Budgeting process and review and final signoff with directors
- Financial project input
- Review commercial contracts
- Management accounts completion / completeness
- Preparation of group figures for periodic reporting to bankers.
- Development of and adherence to group internal controls and timetables
- Payment run final check to Group MD
- Audit payroll
- Keep track of group intercompany bank transactions
- Insurance
- Commercial risk management
- Key project financial analysis
- Administration of the company SASS pension
- Director payroll
- Understanding of Energy segment of the business, oversee timely submissions and payment thereof.
- Audit lead for the group
- Returns VAT, PAYE, ONS, Pension Regulator and licences made on accurate and timely basis
Technical, Training and Skills Level
- ACA qualified with at least 3 years audit experience
- Good technical and compliance skills
