Bar Manager

• Delivering exceptional food and beverage service to a consistently high standard
• Be a point of contact for the members social committee; supporting the Golf team with member events and competitions
• Developing and maintaining standards
• Driving sales through product knowledge, recommendation and promotion
• Identifying the needs of their guests
• Maximising all sales opportunities
• Maximising profitability through stock control/ wastage control/ labour control
• Enhancing the member and guest’ experience through exceeding expectation every time
• Working in a professional manner to the standards defined in the department SOP
• Working with the F&B Operations Manager to recruit, coach and develop the team
• Cash handling, order processing, and room billing
• Understanding and maintaining excellent health & safety within your work area

• Experience in food and beverage management
• A professional hands-on management style
• The ability to deliver an outstanding service to every member and guest
• A positive and energetic approach
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Excellent personal presentation
• A passion for implementing and upholding standards whilst working at a fast pace
• Previous experience managing budgets is preferred
• Confidence in stock control & ordering

As part of the F&B team, hours will include weekend and bank holiday shifts and the flexibility to work early and late shifts.
