Well it's been 3 months after the event, but as the saying goes "better late than never" and 3 months later all we can say is WOW what a wedding, and thank you to all at Stoke By Nayland for making it a day to cherish and remember!

From our first meeting with Mary and Matt in October 2010 we all knew that your Hotel was the perfect choice, and we certainly wasn't disappointed in any way.  Everything was just first class.  The smoothness of the first meeting was carried on throughout the months of planning with Mary, Alan and other members of the team.  There professionalism shone through during these months.  Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything ran smoothly.

Now to the actual three day event.  For ourselves and our guests everything ran smoothly from the moment we entered the Hotel from the smoothness of check in to the professionalism of all the staff.

In fact many guests made use of the Spa and Golf facilities which was also first class.

To the wedding day what can we say, again everybody excelled themselves.  Becky our duty manager made sure everything ran smoothly and to plan.  The bar was well staffed for the large amount of guests, making it that all the drinks was served promptly.

We would like to especially praise Alan and his team for the excellent food that was served throughout the whole day.  From the canapes to the wedding breakfast to the evening buffet.  The food was simply first class, and even our request to delay the evening buffet for an hour was obliged, and it was wonderfully presented, again first class.

We was granted our every request, even our request to have a photo booth taxi inside the Hotel was no problem.  we are also very grateful for the transport from the nearby Hotels to the venue by both your on site mini bus and personally by Mary.

Our day was everything we could have dreamed of, it was perfect and thank you all at Stoke By Nayland.  There are far too many people to thank, but please thank Mary, Matt, Winston, Becky, Alan and lastly Mo, who looked after us all so well, even one of our guests complimented her work to the reception staff, and what a star she was over the whole 3 days.

We were overwhelmed by the amount of phone calls and cards we had to say "Thank you" for such a fabulous time, and that was mainly down to yourselves.  It was just the perfect venue for the Humphreys/Storey wedding, we are so glad we chose you.
