Once the home of a Women’s Land Army Hostel during World War Two, this area has been caringly transformed into a stunning location for top quality accommodation. A central feature of the site is the original water tower from the Hostel which provides an exclusive space at the top, offering 360 degree views over the lakes and “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”.

The tower also hosts an interesting collection of memorabilia from the site’s original use during the War. The stylish Lodges are hand-built with wood cladding and cedar roof tiles and use renewable energy sources for all services. Furnished to the highest quality specification, the luxurious interiors are inspired by the elegant, simple and clean-lined sophistication of the 1940’s which link to the site’s origins.

The Lodges can each be rented either as one large unit accommodating up to 10 guests, or as two separate units, each with kitchens, lounges and double bedrooms. Their spacious, warm and welcoming interiors make them ideal for long or short stays at any time of the year. If you want a break from cooking you can enjoy the exquisite dishes prepared by our award-winning Chef in the hotel’s AA Rosette Lakes Restaurant – or dine more informally in the Clubhouse Restaurant.
