I would just like to say a big thank you to you and your team for a fantastic time we had at Stoke by Nayland last week. The staff were lovely and couldn’t have been anymore helpful. The food was amazing and the hotel and spa were very nice. And as for the golf courses they were beautiful! All of my mates thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I think it’s safe to say we will be returning for another golf trip! Thank you once again for all your efforts and look forward to returning very soon.

Absolutely everything was perfect - from the room, the tables, the food and most importantly the staff. I cannot begin to tell you just how many people have said to me how much they enjoyed the evening and that it is their favourite dinner to date. Everything went so smoothly and the staff on the evening could not do enough to help - they are a credit to Stoke by Nayland Golf Club. Huge compliments to the chef too for truly fantastic food - and masses of it!
It would not have gone so smoothly though without all your assistance in the organising prior to the evening, so a big thank you. I really hope that the golf club will be happily to accommodate us again next year."

Great Ruby Wedding day and lovely job done by all at Stoke - thank you so much.
I left a small tip for the staff but can you let them know what a great job they did. Becky and Sean were terrific with all organisation issues and food was as ever superb. You really have a great team there and I am sure Matt appreciates you all. Do give him a copy of this as the feedback from the family and our guests was tremendous. They are all looking at doing their events there now. We happily recommend you and will do so even more now.
This is the first opportunity I’ve had to thank you for a wonderful day and stay at the hotel on Wednesday.
Everything – facilities and service - was truly faultless and exceeded my expectations.
We had an excellent dinner and I must single out Adam for his front of house talents as well as the chef for the quality of the food.
I really hope on these occasions that people feel they can treat me the same as any other guest/diner and from what I saw throughout my stay I was reassured that everyone seemed to be receiving the same attentive, friendly service.
I’ll write up my experience for our January issue when we do our ‘Suffolk Getaways’ feature. Needless to say I’ll be saying good things about you!

This really was a top class venue. The course lay outs were impressive, the conditions of the greens for October were superb. Add to this the facilities, attitude of the staff, atmosphere and finally the amazing food. This venue will be visited again for sure.

We have today returned from our golf break and I thought I'd write straight away. Please pass my note on to whoever should know.
We have had a wonderful 3 days at Stoke by Nayland. The highlight of our trip wasn't the wonderful weather you organised for us, nor was it the two great golf courses of yours that we played. They are great in themselves and worthy of praise. The highlights for us were the excellent, friendly, courteous and attentive service of every one of your staff we encountered. They were outstanding. In addition the food served to us for dinner and breakfast was excellent. Our compliments to your chefs.
Please pass our thanks onto all your staff. We would certainly recommend Stoke by Nayland to any golf party.

Just wanted to pass on our thanks for what was a fantastic weekend..... Everyone of our group thoroughly enjoyed the facilities, and found the staff at the hotel extremely friendly and helpful. Adam and Jade in the restaurant for keeping us fed. Becky in the Golf bar for keeping us watered. Your starter on the tee's.... everyone else who helped, it was fantastic.... Its the small attention to detail that makes such a big difference... something the large chains can never offer.... please keep it up!!

We would like to congratulate you on the excellent service provided at our recent Ladies Festival Weekend at Stoke By Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa. It is a great credit to you that every member of your staff acted in a very professional and caring manner to ensure the weekend was a great success. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly. The Duty Managers on both days provided excellent co-ordination and communicated with us effectively.
We received many comments on our excellent choice of venue, your excellent food, lovely staff and facilities. All those who played golf thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful courses and facilities. Those who used the Peake Spa and gym commented on the great state of the art equipment and luxurious spa and surroundings. Those who had treatments were impressed too.
The buffet for 70 on Friday night was wonderful and everyone enjoyed the evening, including the Disco provided by Lee Hookway/Cloud Nine Road Show.
Our Gala Dinner on Saturday night was impressive. With 185 to cater for, the service was efficient and the food superb with the chef taking a very personal interest in the event. You might be interested to know that our Raffle/Auction on the evening raised around £2,000 for “Help for Heroes”.
Our personal thanks for outstanding help go firstly to Mary Saward in Sales, who has been our main contact for almost twelve months. Mary knows her product well and is a real pleasure to deal with. We have dealt with many people in similar roles over the years whilst organising events and Mary is the most charming, professional and efficient Sales person we have ever dealt with and a great asset to your company. Secondly our personal thanks go to Michelle White in Reservations who also did an outstanding job of co-ordinating our 64 rooms over two nights and accommodating everyone’s individual requirements.
Additionally, we would like to say thank you to Mel and Shaun, the Duty Managers for their hard work and to Liz on Reception for her “beyond the call of duty” communication and help with the checking in of guests.
On behalf of all who attended and especially Mel and Sue, our President and his Lady, thank you all for a wonderful weekend.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Stoke By Nayland Hotel, Golf and Spa for any function as you have a great team and a great product.

Just back home after a very enjoyable golf break with the TWIGS golf
society. Both golf courses of course are fantastic, but what made the break
so memorable was the way all of your staff provided such a very high level of
service - all with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble and the quality of
food both in the garden room where we had lunch & dinner and the
restaurant was excellent.
A special mention for the young girls in the restaurant who, although very
busy at breakfast were able to deal with all requests for different styles of
eggs or extra tea and coffee etc very efficiently and seamlessly.
I am in the hospitality business and appreciate the difficulty in
maintaining these standards and culture of service across the business, but
you have achieved this with extra stars.
Please pass on my thanks to all of your staff for making our short break so
memorable.
