We believe in the importance of training keen young golfers and have consequently created a range of different programmes that they can participate in.
In all of our junior programmes, young golfers will learn chipping and putting, course etiquette and will receive coaching on irons and woods. Our packages for 2017 include:
Golf Multi Sport Half Days (School Holidays)
The Multi Sport Camps will encourage non-golfing juniors to take an interest in golf by using the concept of other popular sports such as FootGolf to introduce golf.
These activities will take place on the driving range, putting green, short game area and the 4-hole area. Parents will have the option of either morning or afternoon time slots of activities. 09:00 – 12:00 (5-8 year olds), 13:00 – 16:00 (9-13 year olds)
COST: £20 per half day (25% off pp when signing up with two or more youngsters)
Golf Day Camp (School Holidays)
Our day programs are designed to create interest and further development in beginner and intermediate golfers. The camps run 09:00 to 16:00 and include six hours of total instruction. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals—stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules & etiquette, etc. As the day unfolds, campers receive quality short-game instruction and by the end, each Stoke by Nayland junior golfer will see improvement in his or her golf game! (9-14 year olds).
Cost: £30 per day (25% off pp when signing up with two or more youngsters)
Tour Camp (School Holidays)
Our Golf Camps provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to learn or improve their technical skills as well as develop strong course management skills. Participants are grouped into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favourable learning environment possible. 09:00 – 16:00 (12-18 year olds)
Cost £45 per day (25% off pp when signing up with two or more youngsters)
These sessions will be carried out over a four-week block between term times with each session lasting 1 hour. Different time slots for allocated for ages/ability. The courses are on the whole run in conjunction with term times with the exception of the summer period.
Roll up & Give it a Go (Introduce) 10:15 – 11:00, £7 per session
These sessions are to introduce any youngsters under 18 to the game of golf
Rookies (start) 11:15-12:15, £20 4x1 hour sessions, groups are maximum 10 youngsters
These sessions are aimed at beginners and younger golfers the use of Trigolf and golf passport to introduce the sport. Covering the fundamentals of all areas of the game.
Cadets (learn) 12:30-13:30, £20 4x1 hour sessions, groups are maximum 10 youngsters
These sessions will run for developing golfers from beginners to junior members depending on the age group on whether golf passports will be used but the introduction of rules golf etiquette and on course playing will be covered.
“Stoke has Talent” Junior Members (play) 09:00-10:00 £20 4x1 hour sessions, groups are maximum 10 youngsters. These sessions are for junior members to improve their golf and reduce handicaps and be in a learning environment in a group format for fun and meet new friends.
